“Hanwha Life Finance Mentor” Program launches at HUTECH with scholarships and career development opportunities
On August 26, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH), in collaboration with ChildFund Korea, officially launched the “Hanwha Life Finance Mentor” program sponsored by Hanwha Life.

“Hanwha Life Finance Mentor” is one of the key activities under the global initiative “Future Plus” implemented by Hanwha Life and ChildFund Korea. Aiming to support sustainable development through education and community capacity building, especially nurturing talented students in the fields of FinTech and ICT, “Hanwha Life Finance Mentor” offers young people valuable scholarships, professional mentorship, and practical experiences on their career development journey.
In Vietnam, HUTECH is honored to be one of the selected educational institutions to implement the program, once again affirming its pioneering position in training high-quality human resources that meet the demands of international integration and the Industry 4.0 era.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Ly Thien Trang, Vice President of HUTECH, emphasized: “The companionship of Hanwha Life and ChildFund Korea not only provides practical financial support for students but also opens up opportunities for in-depth development, helping them gain real-world exposure, career orientation, and active roles in the digital society. This is precisely the model of cooperation that HUTECH always strives for, in order to create sustainable, holistic, and modern educational values.”

Accordingly, 20 outstanding students were selected to participate in the program, coming from the Institute of International Education, Faculty of Finance and Commerce, Faculty of Information Technology, Vietnam-Japan Institute of Technology (VJIT), and Vietnam-Korea Institute of Technology (VKIT). With their excellent academic achievements, innovative mindset, and strong ambition, they are expected to become pioneers in innovation, capable of applying financial and technological knowledge in practice and making positive contributions to the community.
The program presented welcome gifts to 20 students as encouragement at the beginning of their journey
Representing the students, Ho Phan Truc Anh, a student from the Faculty of Finance and Commerce, emotionally shared: “This is not just a scholarship but also a commitment and a great source of motivation for us to keep striving in our studies, creativity, and dedication. We will do our best to become responsible citizens with strong capabilities, making practical contributions to society in the digital era.”

Immediately after the speeches, the program presented welcome gifts to 20 students as encouragement at the start of their journey. HUTECH leaders, together with Hanwha Life representatives, directly presented these meaningful gifts, demonstrating care and long-term commitment to accompanying students in their learning and training process, so they may become high-quality human resources contributing to the sustainable development of the community and society.
